Personally I have never got the put Christ back into Christmas arguements, for me it's like people saying how dare they take this one day of the year from us!!!!!! If it is so important the message of love incarnate The real question is why aren't these people celebrating it every day!

Maybe there should be put Christ back into Christian campaign

Yep, zigactly!

O Lord all this is so wearisome...it is a real drag watching the world suffer through religion...how must it be for our ever loving, ever patient saviour? Never mind, Onyx...just keep doing the next right thing...

We have our elections coming up here in a week. It's a foregone conclusion that the incumbents will stay (similar to your Tories)...but they are all as bad as one another; constant bickering, back-stabbing, lying, etc. ...and we entrust these people with running our country Doh!

If we don’t spend our money creating separate parades, we can use it to buy meals for the hungry, or winter coats for children.

Just imagine. Maybe the best way to make the holidays more Christian is to spend less time arguing over labels and more time acting like Christ.
Maybe the best way to LIVE LIFE is to spend less time arguing and more time loving.

That goes for the politicians too...less time taking stands against each other, more time finding ways to help the people who elected them.

Thought you may get some more food for thought in this song:

We have had an inconclusive conversation in our household this year about celebrating/ not celebrating; gifting/not gifting; appreciating family and how to show it if not gifting etc. How do you not celebrate something? If you do something instead, then isn't it sheer replacement and then celebrating something? I hope there is an amicable middle ground winking smiley
